Twelve-hour shifts, no complaints
I am on a ward floor all day and I used to change shoes at lunch. I have not done that since these arrived. The wide fit was the thing — my old pair was the right length and still too tight.

Every part of the Trailwalk Pro was chosen for people who are on their feet for hours — nurses, teachers, dog walkers, anyone whose day is measured in steps rather than miles.
The forefoot is cut wide and rounded instead of tapered, so toes splay the way they do barefoot. That is the difference between a shoe you tolerate at hour six and one you forget you are wearing.
Collected from buyers who received the shoe — not from a survey panel.
A reinforced front shield absorbs kerbs, table legs and loose trail stone before your toes do.
Deep multi-directional lugs bite into wet tile, damp grass and gravel instead of skating over it.
A high-elastic midsole returns energy on push-off, so late-afternoon steps cost less than they used to.
A stretch collar and a firm heel tab mean you step in and go. There is nothing to tie, nothing to re-tighten halfway through the day, and nothing to trip over.
Standard colourways use an airy knit lining. The four plush colourways swap it for a brushed fleece bed, so the same shoe carries you from August through February.

The footbed is moulded rather than cut flat: it rises under the arch, cups the heel, and spreads load across the whole sole instead of concentrating it on the ball of the foot. The foam is density-rated to hold that shape through daily wear rather than compressing into a pancake after a few weeks.

The suede-look upper is reinforced with stitched overlays at the flex points where cheap shoes crease and split. The heel counter is structured rather than floppy, which is what stops the foot rolling inward on uneven ground — the failure most people blame on their ankles rather than their shoes.

There is no stiff leather to soften and no lacing pattern to get right. The collar stretches to your instep the first time you put it on, and the sole is already flexible where the foot bends. Most buyers tell us the first wear was a full working day — not a cautious hour around the house.
Five standard colours and four plush-lined winter finishes, all in medium and wide, US 5–15.

Exception one: if you wear a custom orthotic, take the wide — the insole lifts out and the orthotic needs the extra volume. Exception two: if you are between sizes, size up; the collar takes up slack, but nothing recovers a short shoe. Measure by standing on paper and marking heel to longest toe.

Ordered the black expecting something cheap-feeling for the price. Wore them on wet decking the first weekend and they held. The khaki pair turned up on Tuesday.
My usual 8.5 was snug across the top, and the 9 in wide is right. Four stars only because I had to swap — the return took four days and cost nothing, so no real harm done.

Yes. The stock insole lifts straight out, which leaves room for a custom or over-the-counter orthotic. If you plan to use one, order the wide (2E) rather than the medium — an orthotic adds volume as well as height, and a medium that fit before will feel tight afterwards.
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. The upper is water-resistant enough for wet pavement, dewy grass and light rain, and it dries quickly. Standing in a puddle or walking a flooded trail will get your socks wet. If you need genuine waterproofing, this is not the shoe.
If your current shoes feel right across the ball of your foot, take the medium. If you routinely feel pressure on the little toe, buy the next width rather than the next size, or wear an orthotic, take the wide. Length stays the same either way — width does not change how long the shoe is.
Wear them indoors and out for up to 30 nights. If they are not right, contact us and we will arrange a return for a refund of the purchase price. The shoes need to be in returnable condition — ordinary indoor wear is fine, a month of trail mud is not. Full terms are on our Terms and Conditions page.

A damp cloth and a little mild soap on the upper, then air-dry away from direct heat. Do not put them in a washing machine or tumble dryer — the adhesive bonding the midsole is not built for it, and heat is what makes foam midsoles fail early.
