Who we are

Marble Relay LLC is a direct-to-consumer retailer of everyday comfort footwear. We are not a marketplace, a dropshipping front or a review site: we buy stock, hold it, ship it, and answer for it when something goes wrong. Everything sold on marblerelay.com is sold by us, and the company address at the bottom of this page is the one on our registration.

The team is deliberately small. That means we cannot carry forty styles, and we do not try to. We would rather know one shoe thoroughly — which sizes run short, which colourway shows scuffs, which customers send it back and why — than list a catalogue we cannot speak to.

How we choose what to sell

A shoe has to clear three bars before we buy stock. It has to be genuinely comfortable for people who stand for a living rather than people who train for a marathon. It has to come in more than one width, because length is only half of fit and most discomfort people blame on their feet is really a width problem. And it has to survive a month of ordinary wear in our own hands before we will put a price on it.

Things that do not clear those bars get dropped, even when the wholesale margin is attractive. That is the whole reason the shop is short.

Why our price looks low

A pair of comfort shoes usually passes through a brand, a distributor, a retailer and a shelf, and each one adds a margin. We buy directly, hold our own inventory and sell from one page, which removes most of those layers. The advertised original price reflects what comparable shoes retail for through conventional channels; the price you pay reflects what it costs us to get a pair to your door plus a working margin.

Promotional pricing is real but time-limited, and stock levels are real too. When a size sells out it is out until the next production run, and we would rather say so than take an order we cannot fill.

What we will not claim

Our shoes are consumer footwear. They are not medical devices, orthotic prescriptions or treatments, and nothing we publish is medical advice. We describe features — a contoured arch bed, a wide toe box, a non-slip outsole — and what those features are designed to do. We do not claim they diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and we do not tell you they will fix plantar fasciitis, back pain or anything else.

How we are funded

We are funded by selling shoes. Product pages on this website are advertising for our own stock, and we pay to place them in front of people. We are not a publisher, and nothing here should be read as independent editorial or journalism. Where a page states a rating or a customer count, that figure comes from our own order and review records. Our Advertising Disclaimer sets this out in full.
