What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to delete

Who we are

marblerelay.com is operated by Marble Relay LLC, 201 S College St, Suite 1600, Charlotte, NC 28244, USA. We are the controller of the personal information described here. You can reach us at any time at support@marblerelay.com or on the details at the end of this page.

What we collect

Three kinds of information, and nothing beyond them:

• Technical data your browser sends automatically — IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and the pages you view on this site.
• Order details you give us at checkout — name, email address, shipping address, phone number if you provide one, and the item, size, width, colour and quantity you ordered.
• Anything you write to us — the content of an email or a message sent through the contact form, plus the name and email address you send it from.

Payment information

Card details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment provider on an encrypted page, not by this website. We do not receive, process or store full card numbers, expiry dates or security codes on our servers. What we retain is the outcome of the transaction and, at most, the last four digits of the card, so that we can match a refund to the right payment.

Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies and local storage keep the site working — remembering your cookie choice, for example, and carrying your size and colour selection through to checkout. If you accept, we also use analytics cookies to understand which pages people use and where they give up, and advertising cookies set by the platforms we advertise on to measure whether an advert led to an order.

Decline using the banner and the non-essential cookies stay off. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; clearing them will also clear your recorded preference, so the banner will ask again.

How we use information

To take, pack, ship and track your order; to handle exchanges, returns and refunds; to answer your questions; to keep the site secure and diagnose faults; to understand which pages are useful; to measure our advertising; and to meet legal and tax obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your order details with anyone who is not part of fulfilling that order.

Who we share it with

Only the parties needed to run the business: our payment provider, the carrier delivering your parcel, our web host, our email provider, and our accountants where a transaction record is required. Each is bound to use the information only for the purpose we engaged them for. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which in the United States generally means seven years. Support correspondence is kept for two years so we can pick up a conversation if you write again. Server logs are kept for 90 days for security and diagnostics. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form only.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent you previously gave, and to ask us not to sell or share your information — which we do not do in any case. Email support@marblerelay.com and we will respond within the period required by applicable law, usually well inside 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Note that we may need to keep an order record even after a deletion request, where retaining it is required by tax law. Where that applies, we will tell you what we kept and why.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, payment runs on our provider's encrypted infrastructure, and access to order data is limited to the people who need it to fulfil and support orders. No system is perfect, and we will not claim ours is. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not market to them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the business or the law changes. The date below shows when it was last revised, and continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes will be flagged on this page rather than made quietly.
